Would you pay over $6,000 for a Kindle book?

Although it might seem a ridiculous question, it is actually true! There are several books available at the Kindle store at Amazon that cost well over $6,000 dollars. Why do they cost this much? No idea: Who on earth would buy one? No idea. But they exist and are available in case you’ve got a pile of cash to spend. For example the book called “Nuclear Energy” will set you backĀ $6,232.00

What I do love about these books are the hilarious reviews they get:

The first couple of chapters were slow and went over the basics of nuclear energy that I learned in the 4th grade. However, by chapter 3, the pace really started to pick up and I could. not. put. it. down! The suspense was killing me!

I now have about half a reactor built in my backyard and am waiting a delivery from Home Depot and Bed, Bath and Beyond to finalize the construction.

I accidently bought this when I meant to purchase the Oprah selection, The Secret….anyone want to trade?

Don’t do like me and blow your whole book buying budget is just one shot — stupid ‘Buy with One Click’ button.

I ordered this book to complete my doomsday weapon. The information is clear and well drawn-out, particularly the detail regarding the fusion of plasma energy with dark matter. My weapon was finished on schedule.

If you take the second line of every paragraph, the the first sentence, and every 13th letter of each, therein lay the recipe for Mr. Fusion!

The Amazon discount off retail gave me the financial resources to buy the family a new big screen TV.

What a deal!

I ordered this and within 3 days of light reading it disintegrated into dust. Now I have only 1/8 of my nuclear power plant built. Thanks a lot.
